INDEPENDENT EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION

Under certain circumstances, parents of a child with a disability have the right to obtain and Independent Educational Evaluation of their child conducted by an appropriately certified and/or licensed examiner who is not employed by the school district. The results of such an independent evaluation shall be considered by the school district in any decision made with respect to the provision of a free appropriate public education (FAPE) to the child.
